Joshua Crews is a man with a vivid imagination. Growing up he would play with toys in his room and be perfectly content all by himself. Even if there were no toys, an ongoing story in his head would keep him entertained. A lost but not forgotten talent for storytelling, found in the Jungle of Purpose.

Joshua spent over two years in the jungle which quickly became a metaphor for his life. Every time he attempted to stop, for at times it was too much, the Lord would grab hold of him and tell him to get to work until the series was completed. With the help of the Holy Spirit, that's exactly what he did. He worked tirelessly laying all his emotions bare for the whole world to see. Joshua's release from the hold the Lord had on him in the jungle has given him a new mission: Bring others to the Jungle, so they too can find not only their purpose, but themselves. 

Outside of the jungle, Joshua is a child of God, husband to his beautiful wife Chaka, and a father to his baby boy Noah. Those are the three core things which mold him into the man that he is. If you take one more step back, you'll see that Joshua is a simple man who takes joy in the little things. Give him a pair of running shoes or sit him on the edge of a mountain, and he'll be perfectly content. Alone with his thoughts, is how the jungle grew. It grew as large as the world he looked down on from atop a mountain. He didn't know it at that time, but the seed was planted. First one tree, and then another, and then another until the jungle was complete. For now he enjoys a break from the miles of wilderness, until the Lord calls for his return to the Jungle of Purpose.
